Looking to Save Hundreds on Your Phone Bill? Compare and Review VoIP Phone Service Providers

I made the switch to VoIP about three years ago and have never looked back. The call quality is excellent and the features are incredible. When I first switched to VoIP I purchased a package from a VoIP provider named Via-Talk which was a two year agreement paid up front.

Many VoIP providers have month to month plans but if you can cough up the money up front you can save quite a bit in the long run. The plan I purchased from Via-Talk was $199.00 for a full two years of service (that's only $8.29 per month).

I read many reviews about the service before making my purchase and it turned out to be the best move I ever made. I recieved unlimited minutes and more features then I even needed and didn't have a phone bill for two years. To be honest I can remember months where my phone bill rivaled $199.00 just for one month of service with my local phone company.

During this difficult economic time I highly recommend making the switch. The savings are instant and the argument for sticking with a conventional phone line doesn't really exist. I have heard conventional phone companies put up the argument that a conventional line is more reliable, well that used to be the case but VoIP has come a long way and is a very reliable solution today. As a matter of fact most of the larger conventional telephone companies are now offering VoIP services as well as conventional lines.

Even if you are a business owner you can cut back your overhead by switching to VoIP and getting multiple lines installed. There are VoIP service providers that tailor specifically to businesses that require multiple lines throughout several offices. There are even call center services that run on VoIP. Most offices already have broadband internet access so why not consolidate your services and save?

Free VoIP Service Comparison Tool:

I found this tool to be very useful during a more recent search for VoIP service. It allows you to select up to four VoIP service providers and compare their features and prices in a side by side fashion.

They also have reviews of the top providers. This is important because not only do you want to find a provider with the features and prices that you need, you also want to be sure they are a reliable company and offer services that you can count on.

I wish to use my broadband to provide a separate phone line for my home office.?
I've been looking into services that are available and I think what I'm looking for is a VOIP provider which include Skype and Vonage. I need to have a separate number for this phone-ideally an 0845 number and as a start-up business I wish to try and keep costs down so could do with knowing about the best deals. I won't be calling customers as such, rather they may call with an enquiry. Has anyone used either of those two companies/service providers in the UK and how did you find their service? Also, do they provide cost effective compared to the cost of having an additional phone line? I do not wish to have an 0845 number which diverts to my home phone, hence why I'm looking at the broadband option. Points go to ther person who can explain what the best option may be for me without confusing me further.
